Glass  Work  by  Dea  Archbold
Creating images has been my focus for as long as I can remember . I have been schooled in numerous techniques such as the traditional leading and foiling of stained glass, window restoration, kiln fired glass painting, glass fusing (the melting of glass together at high temperatures ) and glass slumping (melting glass in a kiln so that it bends to a different shape).
My pieces are inspired by working with lines, color, glass texture and recycled found glass .The pieces suggest a surreal physical or mental landscape that have attributes of both a stylized and realistic nature.
